Old Lodge Pottery &  Riverbank Cafe

The Old Lodge Pottery & Riverbank Cafe

The Old Lodge Pottery and Riverbank Cafe are on the bank of the river in Gladstone. Wander through the Old Lodge Pottery which has a large variety of locally made crafts for sale. The Riverbank Cafe offers coffee, light snacks and delicious lunches within a lush garden setting that enjoys river views.

Opening hours are from 10 am to 5 pm Thursday to Sunday and all school holidays.

Smithtown Riverview Hotel

The Smithtown Riverview Hotel is located right on the riverbank and offers the largest range of quality wines and ice cold beer in the Macleay Valley. To tempt the tastebuds there are steak and fresh local seafood dishes seven days and nights a week - good service in a casual atmosphere. Bookings are essential. There is a pool table, Austar - Sky - TAB - TVN and EFTPOS available. Raffles are held every Thursday at 6.30 pm. The houseboat can be moored alongside the pontoon in front of the Hotel whilst you enjoy a drink and tasty meal.
 

Macleay River Fishermans Co-operative 

The Macleay River Fishermans Co-operative is located in the historic village of Jerseyville and is the home base of the local fishing and prawning vessels. If your fishing activities are not successful or you are not inclined to try, fresh seafood is always available from the Co-operative.

Riverside Tavern - South West Rocks

The Riverside Tavern offers friendly service and the choice of indoor or outdoor dining on the comfortable covered verandah. The Riverside Brassieria is open 7 days a week and has a range of seafood, steak, chicken, pasta and salad dishes to tempt your appetite. Special dietary needs are also catered for. Bookings are essential, especially during holiday periods. Bookings are held for a maximum of 15 minutes from the booked time. Reservations can be made by phoning 6566 5700 to reserve your table. Entertainment is provided on Friday nights and there is a large pool table area.
